If you’ve ever heard “How long Mum?” halfway through a theme park queue, you’re in the right place.
Theme parks are meant to be magical — but let’s be honest, they can also be loud, long, overwhelming, and exhausting (for kids and grown-ups alike). How Long Mum? was created to help families enjoy big days out filled with family fun without the stress, guesswork, and post-park meltdowns.
We’re a new independent theme park companion built for parents, sharing real advice and certainly not pretending every ride is perfect for every child. Our job is to assist you with effective queue management, allowing you to make realistic decisions in real time — whether that means riding, resting, snacking, or calling it a day while everyone’s still smiling.
Unlike official park apps, we don’t work for the parks, which allows us to be honest. Sometimes the best move isn’t another ride — it’s a toilet break, a quieter route, or a well-timed exit. And that’s okay.
How Long Mum? is designed with SEN families in mind, not added as an afterthought. We focus on predictability, calmer pacing, and sensory-aware planning, so every family can build a day that works for them.
